HANDY COVID INFORMATION AND SAFETY PLANS
Metropolitan Melbourne has moved to Stage 4 ‘Stay at Home’ restrictions to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Victoria.
Under these restrictions, businesses in Melbourne can only operate for on-site operations if they are a Permitted Work PremisesExternal link (opens in same window) and a COVIDSafe Plan must be implemented to continue their operation.
Regional Victoria has moved to Stage 3 ‘Stay at Home’ restrictions to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and a COVIDSafe Plan is advised for other permitted work premises.
Additional conditions are also in place for abattoirs and meat processing businesses anywhere in Victoria.
Creating your COVIDSafe Plan is not complicated, but it will protect your staff, customers, and visitors.
It also supports you in preparing for a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in your workplace.

Permitted Work PremisesExternal link (opens in same window) must have a completed COVIDSafe Plan to continue their operation in metropolitan Melbourne, and a COVIDSafe Plan is advised for regional Victoria.
Your COVIDSafe Plan must set out:
Your actions to help prevent the introduction of coronavirus (COVID-19) in your workplace
The level of face-covering or personal protective equipment (PPE) required for your workforce
How you will prepare for, and respond to, a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in your workplace
This plan must demonstrate how you will meet all of the requirements set out by the Victorian Government. Some higher-risk industries or workplaces have additional requirements of employers and employees.

High Risk COVIDSafe Plan
If you are a high-risk industry (construction, warehousing and distribution, supermarket and medical distribution centres) your COVIDSafe Plan must be complemented by a High Risk COVIDSafe Plan if you operate in metropolitan Melbourne.
If you are an abattoir or meat processing (including seafood and poultry), you must complete a High Risk COVIDSafe Plan regardless of where you operate in
